12/13 Virtual Floral Workshop

If you are participating in this class you will receive an assortment of Roses, Brunia, pincushions, hellebores, calla lilies and pine greens.

The Roses, Pincushion Protea should have 50-75% of the foliage cleaned off the bottom of the stems, receive a fresh cut on a diagonal, and placed in a vase of warm water.

The Eucalyptus should be given a fresh cut on diagonal and placed in warm water

Calla Lilies can receive a fresh trim at the bottom and be placed in a vase of 3-6” of water. Make sure the vase is not filled too high or stems can start to rot. 

The Helleborus should be given a fresh cut, placed in cool water and be left wrapped in paper on top for 2-4 hours after they begin to drink and keep in a cooler place.
